Buying and Storing Fresh Pistachios

Fresh pistachio fruit should be refrigerated to preserve maximum freshness. When purchasing them in punnets, the pink hull that covers the split shell should be plump and full of colour. Over time it may wrinkle slightly but the kernel inside will still be delicious. All our punnets are date stamped.

When and Where to Buy

Harefield pistachio fruit is a seasonal specialty available only at the time of harvest, from March until early April.
